I'll be walking for us all this Friday! *Hugs* Gail

Early colon cancer detector
I was watching the 11:00 o'clock news (CTV, a Canadian station)+ there was a story on a new CC detector to detect at early stages. This is being developed at the University of Alberta. It looks at urine + cancer waste products that are released in urine. Apparently it is more accurate than the fecal occult test. It detects…

Wife's 2nd surgery starts shortly. Good news!
I wanted to share my good news! Since I progressed on 5-FU and Avastin, after dropping Irinotecan when labs and scans went well, I had to go back on the big guns putting Irinotecan back in. FOLFIRI plus Avastin. With FOLFOX my CEA continued to rise for a few cycles before coming down. With FOLFIRI and Avastin, it continued…

Good Morning, I have a question. Since my visit with the surgeon I have been wondering about his saying I will probably not need chemo. (If no other cancer is found).
