If I don't have it...I was really hoping it was all gone. For good. Was wondering if anyone knew if the CT scan I had last week could have…

Christmas Poem
The True Meaning Of Christmas by Brian K. Walters In todays' day and time, it's easy to lose sight, of the true meaning of Christmas and one special night. When we go shopping, We say "How much will it cost?" Then the true meaning of Christmas, Somehow becomes lost. Amidst the tinsel, glitter And ribbons of gold, We forget…

So Sad
So I was sending out my Christmas cards yesterday to include the ones I needed to send from our Christmas list on CSN. The part that made me sad was looking at the list and reading off to the side that they had died. Wow what a reality check and a slap in the face that one day any of us could be on that list. I quickly…

I've been busy admiring my body
Yep, my date of a new scar is looming on the horizon. And yes, my name is WOMAN, so hell yes I'm vain. I'm thinking how great my tummy looks now (well, for the past few years of old age, I've been thinking otherwise, funny how cancer can change an attitude)and how I'm going to miss the "smoothness" of it. I do this surgery…

Jim had his CT scan Thursday, with the usual steroid prep and benadryl for his allergy to the dye along with IV fluids before and after the test. He is having 10 or more loose stools a day lately and he gets his 7th folfox Tuesday. Needless to say his bum is hurting! Is it typical for this to continue to get worse as the…

Supplements during treatments.
Doing some reading on nutritional supplements & multivitamins during treatments. Some key antioxident vitamins are B,C,E & A. (they work best in combination)as well as Beta-carotene, lycopene 7 omega-3 fatty acid. Ive heard some say not to take any vitamins at all or stop 2 days prior to hook-up and start 3 days after…

I wish I had a pickle
Got the most fabulous tuna melt brought to me via my son and his fiancee' from the Seabright Brewery, but ALAS, no pickles. I kind of got thinking, if only my life required a simple pickle to make me happy. And I bet you, should I get said pickle, I would indeed be happy, at least for the moment.

A beautiful animation
I just love this animation and thought I would share it with you all. What amazes me is the creativity. There were the dancers who danced this story, that was choreographed by a choreographer. Then another group of people took that dance and turned it into what looks like a simple animation ... yet it is so beautiful. The…
