Hi everyone, Mom has been feeling really down about the incontinence she is experiencing. She is wearing the Depends and really hates it. We were told it was from the radiation. 2 years post chemo update
Well almost 2 years! After my first TX, July 08, I woke up the next morning with my left hand sorta asleep. The feeling that I had slept wrong on it. This persisted, over days, then weeks. It follows a pattern of the ulna nerve being compressed- it is the little finger, half of my ring finger and about 1/4 of my palm. My…

visit with surgeon
Well I saw the surgeon yesterday and he's not keen on surgery because I've got it in three places--2 lypmh nodes, a spot by my rectum and a potential third spot in the peritoneum. He'd rather have me do chemo first to see if it will affect the tumor then do surgery. His concern is if I have surgery and the chemo doesn't…

CEA climbing
So, I only get CT scans without contrast because I am deathly allergic to the IV contrast. Today my scans came back with no notable areas. My onc said that with my scans a tumor would have to be the size of his thumb nail before it would show on the scan so no notable tumors is a good thing. But, my CEA has been climbing…
