Freaking out because even though 7 years cancer free, I keep thinking I have cancer hiding somewhere
Hi. My name is lori. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer stage 3 in 2006. I had chemo, bilateral mastecomy, and reconstructive surgery. I was told that I was cancer free in Jan. 2007 but since I had cancer at age 36 with no family history and since it was such an aggressive cancer that I could expect to get…

Disney World!
I don't know how much I can do, but we are taking Katherine, Aaron and little Bella (Aaron's daughter and now our new granddaughter, age 5) to Disney World. :-) I am planning frequent rests and will take it easy, but really want to see Bella enjoy her first visit.

Off topic; I need ideas
Help. I am signed up to cater my sons pre football game meal. I need to feed about 60 hungry boys. I thought I would just have it catered by the lodal barbeque place but it was going to be about $900.00 (13.95 per kid). The coach likes the meal about 3 hours before the game so we are looking at about 11:30 A.m. this…

Got phishing message seeking money, beware
Hello Ladies. I got an email message saying I had a personal message here on the CSN. When I opened it, it was a letter begging for money and clearly a deliberate attempt at fraud. It was signed from a Helen Bones. Where can I report this. Wanted to let all know about this. Who does this kind of stuff on a site like this?

Lung Update (by New Flower's Request)
Unfortunately I don't have the best of news. I continue to have pain, which I guess is normal for a thoracotomy for 6-12 months after surgery. I have seen the 2 different PA's now and the surgeon recently. I told the first PA (the full of himself idiot that didn't know he shouldn't be wearing so much cologne when he enters…

Grettings from Dawne
I was able to go visit Dawne for a while this afternoon. I was so glad to be able to spend time with her. She wanted me to post and tell you all she sends her love and that she is praying for all of you. Dawne has had some relief from the lymphedema. They placed a stent in her arm and it has drained some and looks so much…

I lost my mom to breast cancer
My mom had been diagnosed in August of 2012 and I lost her on October 19th, 2013. Ductal carcinoma. I left my job when she had been diagnosed to be by her side through everything, the doctor appointments, the treatments, surgery and radiation. I felt absolutely horrible telling her, of course but she had been on a cruise…

Insurance issue
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a year ago. Went thru a double mastectomy, chemo, and now is halfway thru radiation. The breast surgeon we chose is out of our network. And we knew this going forward (our out-of-network copays are 30%). The wife went thru the Sentinel Biopsy procedure on 1/4/13 and the…

Don't know what to do or think..
So around a month and a half ago I found a lump in my right breast at 12 O'clock position. Ever since I have seen my doctor many times and have also had an ultrasound and I just received a call from the hospital for my guided biopsy appointment. I feel like I'm going crazy. So many emotions are going through my head and I…
