Tumor markers
Could tm rise be linked to anything else other than cancer? My CA 27-29 has risen over the past year from normal to 120. I have benign growths in my liver. Could it possibly be from that or something else. I would love to hear from someone whos been there. Thank you so much Jayne

menapause & period coming back
Has anyone taken shots to stop your period? I stopped mine after second dose of chemo. I haven't had it since and just finished my 18 month chemo program. I had the FSH test which said I was menopausal and yet I have signs of my period coming back. And I was told I would have to take these shots to stop it...thank you Ali

TRAM and Thoracic Epidural
I am scheduled for a TRAM in March. The surgeon said he wants to include the thoracic epidural (besides general anesthesia) for pain management. Can't find much on the web. Anyone have one, did it help with post op pain? Did you have any side effects? Appreciate any help you can give me. Future

lymph nodes removed swelling under site

Soy products and breast cancer
Does anyone know if soy products pose a risk to women with breast cancer? I have heard that the phytoestrogens in soy may stimulate tumor growth, but I've also read that soy has some protective effects against cancer in general. Any oppinions about/experience with this? Thanks, Holly

discontinuing Tamoxifen
In Nov. I will discontinue taking Tamoxifen, after five years. A friend who completed the five year course of Tamoxifen last year, had a recurrence, in the other breast.
