Is this a major Issue?
Is this normal? I had a RRP six weeks ago and things were going along as well as can be expected. Dripping and using 4 or 5 pads a day. The other day I woke up with a pretty strong stream and then almost nothing the whole entire day. I would go to urinate, 3 drops would come out and when I tried to kind “force” the rest, I…

Is US making less progress than other countries in HT as a prime treatment of Prostate cancer?
Japan says yes. According to a citation from a detailed Japanese study published in ASCO’s Journal of Clinical Oncology, patients in Japan are more often treated with hormonal therapy than in the USA, and the reasons behind are due to doctor’s “choice” rather than in view of the characteristics of the patient’s disease.…

Obtaining 2nd opinion for biopsy
What is the best lab to get a second opinion for prostate biopsy? What is the protocol? Do I ask my urologist to send out the core sample slides to a lab of my choice or do I get the core sample slides from my urologist and send them out myself?

Need some help, please
I have recently joined CSN after reading many posts over the past 4 weeks. It certainly appears that although nobody really wants to be part of this group that it’s like everybody is your friend and that you try and help each other. I find it very heart warming. I was diagnosed with PC in September. Gleason score 3+4=7 PSA…

Round two with Ecoli infection from marker placement.
As I posted previously, I became septic and positive for Ecoli after having my markers placed for my CK treatments. The Cipro and other anibiotics failed to do their job.
