I found out December 23, 2008 and I had surgery December 28, 2008. It took forever to get diagnosed because of the insurance company. By the grace of God, my doctors kept pushing for the…

Please excuse the long post. A number of members have posed questions on the discussion boards or emailed me for more information about the CSN study that has been underway since November 2013. Hello Ladies, Just received some very sad news. My sister in law just had surgery and has ovarian cancer. They have said it is either stage 2 or 3. I have been praying that she would be fine. Struggling and losing hope
I could really use some help. My mom was diagnosed with Stage IIIB ovarian cancer in September. Total shock. She is in her early 70s, has led a clean, active life. She had debulking surgery in early October. That surgery included a colon resection (doc says he cut some cancer off the outside wall of the colon - whatever…

Repeating drugs? How many different drugs are there for OVCA?
Hi Ladies. I posted that my latest scans were not good, as lymph nodes in the abdominal increased not only in size, but now there are numerous more, including a mantle of them. I was stable for about ten months with Doxil. I am now on topotecan, 3 weeks on, one week off. I have had 3, and resume this upcoming Friday. Dr.…

Second opinion? How do you know when you should seek one?
Got the results from my latest CT scan last week. Long story short, it shows “something” on my spleen. My gyn/onc surgeon thinks it may be a recurrence of my primary peritoneal cancer (which is treated exactly the same as ovarian cancer). My CA-125 number has been slowly rising since summer & is now 44. The surgeon…
