CT Scan - still NED !
Hello everyone! I haven't posted much in awhile but I have been occasionally reading/following you. It's been tough since losing my sister but I think I'm doing as well as expected at this point with that. I had my regular 3 month visit with the oncologist on Monday 2/6, CT scan, labs, etc. Results were good. Some of my…

oncologist visit
Dear Liz and Donna, Yesterday, Tuesday I had very little time to post a reply to your concern, Thank you. I had a few concerns from a transvaginal sono June 27, 2011, and abdominal ultra sound Oct 11, 2011. Small cyst on left ovary, and mild prominence of pancreatic duct. I had a MRI Nov 14, 2011 to ease my concern. The…

Have a good oncologist at Dana Farber?
Hi, my mom, 65, was just diagnosed with stage 3 follicular lymphoma. She wants to be seen at Dana Farber. Anyone know a good oncologist there? I'm sure they're all good, but looking expecially for one a patient/family member would recommend as having a great bedside manner. Thanks.

Hair Loss
I was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and began to experience hair loss. However, I decided not to let cancer take my personality while it battles for my body. My family helped me to make this a funny experience. I refuse to let cancer change for anything but the better! http://youtu.be/R9o3EsL6Qhc

Low white cell count months after chemo
Hello, I just finished chemo 3-1/2 months ago. Last week, I had my counts checked and my white cells had fallen to .9 and my neutrophils to .3. Just two weeks earlier, my white count was 3.2 and neutrophils were 1.75. My hemoglobin and red are normal ranges and platelets are improving. I had it rechecked today, and there…

new to the board
Hi everyone! My name is Kelly, I'm 31 years old and I'm a 13 year cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease back in 1997 when I was 17 years old. I came to this board to hopefully connect with people who have gone through what I've gone through and who can relate to the fears I still have. My mother recently…

Thinking of you, Liz
Hi Liz Just wanted to say that I will be thinking of you tomorrow as you start your new journey. It's always a little bit scary to start a new treatment. But after tomorrow you will no longer be a newbie. I bet that you must feel some relief at getting started. It is so hard to do the w/w. I've done plenty of it. When you…
