"The Silver Tongued Devil and I"
(Kris Kristofferson reference) I have been wrestling with ways to eliminate trolls from this site (even though I am not being paid to do so, and so must just be a total nerd). I thought of a number of techno items (and passed these on), but they don't work with creeps. Creeps are like cockroaches and they just multiply.…

UPDATE ON MY DAD.
Well My dad has started his treatments. Today was his first radiation treatment. He got the stitches out yesterday and the radiologist wanted to start treatments ASAP. So he has to do 2 to 3 weeks of radiation on his head to shrink the tumors and then after that he starts chemo. He is doing pretty good but he is very…

My mom was diagnosed with stage IV Squmous Cell Lung Cancer. She is terminal as the cancer is in the blood stream and has spread to the bone. He passed away one year ago, but it's still fresh in my mind and I can't believe others haven't died from having a rare side effect. Carole

Exploratory CT guided bronchoscopy?
Originally they said dad's tumors weren't accessible for a regular bronchoscopy, so we waited another 2 weeks for him to get approved and worked in for a needle biopsy of his lung. Needle biopsy seemed to go fine last Thursday and had no problems for 3 days. Sunday his right lung collapsed and I took him to ER for chest…

I went in for my 3 month check up today and the doctor said there are "subtle changes" seen on the chest x-rays I had last week. He has ordered a ct scan next week and of course told me not to worry. Easy for him to say, but easier said than done. He said that my tumor marker has not changed and he was pleased that I was…
