my dad had stage 4 non small cell adenocarcinoma. the doc said that he wasn't a candidate for radiation or surgery. I understand if the tumor is invasive that surgery is difficult, but why not radiation, I don't quite understand what makes some people a candidate and others not. Could someone explain. Thanks in advance.
