Terminal
My husband was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma Stage IV in July. We have gone thru Chemo, radiation, teeth removal, tonsilectomy. All of that still left lymph nodes on both sides and behind the nasal cavity. We were told last week that this is a terminal cancer. The Dr. said he could not remove the cancer. My…

anyone else have an unknown primary?
Hi all, Doc just called to say that biopsy taken of suspected primary is not cancer. I am not sure if it is good news or bad news! The good news was that of all the lymph nodes taken only one was positive for cancer. Has anyone else had an occult primary? What was the protocol for you?...more questions. Thanks, Jen

How long does it take
My dad was diagnosed the first of March with tongue cancer. He has not started treatment yet. He has talked with the Chemo and rad doctors. This Tuesday will be 2 weeks since they did the first planning session for rad. The nurse and doctor assured us that it normally takes this long to get started. I am assuming that he…

Week delay
Just an update. Everything for Mark is pushed back a week. A mix-up regarding Motrin. He has had it too recently to do the endoscopy/biopsy. Rescheduled for next Monday and then hopefully the Robotic sugery for his tonsil that Friday. Does a week make a difference in terms of cell growth and migration?
