I didn't have anesthesia when I had my colonoscopy, because I'm a control freak and don't like being knocked out, and I didn't even have anesthesia when I did an endoscopy a week later and so I got to watch it all on the monitor. I watched as the doctor found the first and second polyps and removed them. I was feeling…

Just curious who was told they have cancer while coming out of anesthesia? I was and only vaguely remember it. If my family wasn't told also after surgery - I probably would have thought it was a bad dream. Doesn't change anything, just curious - seems weird to tell someone that when they aren't alert

Liver Mets
For people who have have had liver metastasis, I'm wondering how it was diagnosed. Obviously lesions or abnormalities would show up on a ct or pet scan.
