Need a hug today - Update
I haven't posted a lot lately, but I do check in on everyone. I am about to take off for Ohio to say a final goodbye to my Mom. Actually, she probably won't still be alive by the time I get there. She is 83, and battled chronic leukemia for a while now. I spoke to her on her birthday (Feb 12) and she seemed good. But this…

Residual effects of chemo
Valentines day was my second ever chemo treatment (Folfox + Avastin). This one hit me a little harder than the first. I am concerned about one of the side effects. Healthier cat litter for our lungs
Hi my fellow cat lovers. My cancer has spread to my lungs, so in an attempt to try and clean up my environment, I did a couple hours of research to find a kitty litter which is dust free, and still clumps well. I tried the "World's Best Cat Litter", but after a few days, the smell was overwhelming, even after the clumps…

Post Surgery Update
Saw Onc again today, 3 weeks ago I started Avastin, before the Avastin I learned my CEA was down to 4.2 after surgery, with not having chemo for two months. So before I got my first dose of Avastin 3 weeks ago, they took my blood for another check. I found out today it was down to 3.4, again, that made it no chemo for 3…

Report on the ickiness and question about my pathology report (I know, give it a REST!)
Well, I'm crawling back to feeling human. Tuesday night was one of the worst nights I've ever had. Vomiting, diarrhea, PAIN out the roof. When I went to my doctor on Wed. morning, he was concerned I might have an obstruction, because I've had several since my resection. He sent me to the ER, so they could do x-rays and…
