Anniversary
I got so caught up in all this CT, PET and flex sig mess that I completely lost sight of the positive. June 13th was my 3 year survivor anniversary. I was too sick to celebrate so I will have to make up for it this weekend! Thank you all for your encouragement and support, you're wonderful! Wendy

tough decision
well, i've made a tough decision for me. I've decided it's time to take a medical leave to fight this cancer. I'm having some trouble dealing with the effects of the camptosar and erbitux (diarrhea and severe fatigue). But this is my last option and i'm reluctant to cut back on dosing, which is something we ALWAYS seem to…

Has anyone out there had their reversal while in the middle of 5FU drip therapy? My husband just finished his first 5FU (post-surgery) and was scheduled to have his reversal in July. Flex-sig results-anesthesia problems
Flex sig results look good. Dr. biopsied one spot but he believes it to be related to my surgery. Said he definately didn't see any cancer. Still doesn't know what caused the PET to light up. He thinks it could be that same spot he biopsied. I think I will feel better when he can tell me for sure. The sedation drugs hit me…

Neuropathy
I finished my last cycle of FOLFOX about a week and a half ago and my neuropathy is worse now than it has ever been. It's not so bad that it really interferes with much--my typing is a little clumsy, but that's about it--but there's an annoying numbness in my fingertips and in my feet. For those of you who had neuropathy…

Straight Out of Oprah's Magazine
Last months bodywise section had a really good article about the expense of organic food and food additives to avoid by their resident medical doctor and Yale professor. Thanks for the welcome and your replies.....I have another question, HOW do you reply to a post? Either I'm blind, or there isn't a "reply" button to push! I was diagnosed in March with stage III colon cancer, with 3 out of 21 lymph nodes positive. I just turned 50 last December. It had not spread to any other organs. I was totally shocked!
