She is to be at hospital tomorrow a.m. at 5:30, with strict instruction to not have that girl til I get back from rads between 9:30 and 10 (oh the power…

Thank you, my pink sisters....update on my sis....
Just got the call...my sister is doing well. She came home from the hospital yesterday, no nausea after the procedure. Both sides sentinel nodes removed, she will learn in a week what the path is from that...but she said that the surgeon said there were 'no surprises' during either procedure. SO, thank you, my sisters in…

Done with chemo-follow-up CT scan Wednesday!
Well I made it through chemo with my final treatment on December 14. It was by no means a picnic , but I made it through with a few side effects that I am hoping will go away (like the weight gain :) ) or the ones that won't I think I can deal with. Now I have a ct scan this Wednesday to check on a liver spot from back in…

I have finished chemo and finished radiation now what?
It feels very strange to be done with treatment. I have to admit I am a little more emotional than i have been throughout the whole process. I am both relieved and excited to be done with treatment but worried about recurrance and getting on with the business of living. Any advice is welcome!

Any advice for mouth sores during chemo?
One of my friends is going thru chemo and she has mouth sores now. I didn't have chemo, so, I don't know what to tell her that might help. Her oncologist only told her to suck on ice chips, which she does, but, is there anything else? Can you give me some suggestions as to what she can do to help with the mouth sores?…

Here's the plan---What advice or experiences can you share?
Since I first posted here on Jan 2, it has been a whirlwind of phone calls, tests, and appointments. I've had a CT scan, bone scan, and breast MRI, plus the receptor tests were finished. No mets, thankfully, but triple negative and aggressive--75% on the KI67 proliferation index. If the mugascan to check heart output is…

Please cheer me on
I've decided to let my hair grow. Every time I've tried since chemo, I think it's going to be thin, but ok, and then it gets about 2" long and it's obvious it's not ok and I cry and buzz it short again. My friend is a hairdresser and she's going to help with keeping it shaped to grow into a style. My New Year's resolution…
