megace and heartburn
I almost ashamed to even ask for help on this as it is such a minor side effect, but you all have so much combined wisdom that maybe you have some ideas I have not tried. When I am in the 3-week Megace phase, I get such gas and heartburn that I was eating Tums like crazy. Doc told me to ease off on the Tums - try…

Recurrence
I had total hysterectomy in January, internal vaginal brachytherapy in March and now found out the cancer recurred in a para-aortic lymph node. Surgery is scheduled for June 29th. Doctor says I may need follow up chemo and radiation therapy. I am not looking forward to this. Has any one had any experience with integrative…

This morning I started my new therapy of afinitor and Letrozole. I have to admit, I thought I was so ready until I tried to cram that big pill into a mini marshmallow! Mixed results but OK
Doc called at 8 a.m. to report on Friday's CT scan. Good news and maybe some not so good. It appears that the surgery in October killed the beast on the vaginal cuff! I think she was shocked! But, I do have 3 lymph nodes in the pelvic area that have grown slightly larger. One is tiny, 2 are a little over 1.3 cm. I will…

My girls!
After three whole months gone, I am finally surfacing and I have missed all of you so much. Praying as always that everyone's ok. We made it out of Texas just before the army shut down all military travel. Took six days to get across the country and arrived in our SC home three months ago today. Spent these past 12 weeks…

neuropathy or carpal tunnel?
About a month ago the neuropathy that I have had in my fingers suddenly became worse. Its in both hands and the pain and burning shoots up my arms. I often cannot use my hands for fine motor tasks. I cannot lift things, unscrew jars, etc. because I don't have enough strenght. I wake up in the middle of the night in pain. I…
