Cramping a lot here lately.
I am not going on 2.5 years since diagnosed with Recurrance Uterine cancer. Done the Carbo/Taxol, 35 days of Radiation (2x a day), Letrozole (didnt work), Doxil (left burns on my body) and currently on Avastin (which I have been told will not continue to work). WED to NED
I finally had my post treatment CT scan and check up. It is just 3 weeks shy of a year from my diagnosis and surgery for UPSC stage 3B. The verdict is that I am Without Evidence of Disease as my Dr. calls it, or as the ladies here say, No Evidence of Disease. I will admit to a bit of anxiety leading up to the scan, with a…

Post Surgical Update
Hi Everyone! Just a little update after sugery on 3/27/18. I had a complete hysterectomy, lymph node debulking, omentum removal, vaginal biopsy, and other technical procedures. My surgery took over 10 hours. Blood donors are unsung heros, without them I would not be here today. Even as a person without any health issues,…

https://moffitt.org/take-charge/take-charge-story-archive/federal-funding-lowest-for-gynecological-cancers/ Ovarian, endometrial and uterine cancers kill far too many women for funding to be this low. And while I read encouraging reports of survival re adanced stages in endometrial, uterine and ovarian cancer, the…

Peach fuzz
Just wondering if you ladies know if it is common for your hair to start growing back if you had the sandwich treatment. My break was only 4 1/2 weeks and a week after my 4th treatment I got peach fuzz all over my head even when my eyebrows and eyelashes continued to fall out. If it is normal will it also fall out again?…

Low white blood cell count
Checkup wasn't bad. My CA-125 went from 17 to 12 post-surgery (six weeks out), so that's good. It's the lowest it's been throughout this whole cancer journey. May it hit the single digits by the time of my sixth (and HOPEFULLY last) chemo session. I'm itchin' to ring that bell! That in combination with a boring,…

How long did it take for diagnosis?
I am waiting to be formally diagnosed (with something). I have had a CT scan which found a mass in my uterus, an ultra sound which I haven't been told exactly what it stated, an attempted endometrial biopsy (which MD couldn't get into the cavity. She stated it might of colapsed onto itself, but to follow protocol she…

Question for those who have undergone radiation
Has anyone tried those donut pillows for vaginal/labia pain? I was just wondering if they work for that (I know they are made for hemmorhoid pain), if the hole is big enough to cover that part of the anatomy. I'm trying to deal with an irriated labia and I have cream that helps but it's not going to go away as long as I…
