is your scar a badge of honor or something you hide
Personaly for me I try not to hide the scar and am glad to explain to others why I have the scar. It is a mark of survival to me and for me at least not something I am ashamed of. But I was wondering how many people want to hide the scar and what are the reasons?

AM I BEING TOO UNASSERTIVE ON NOT INSISTING UPON SEEING THE TOP DOCTOR?
My thyroid cancer has doctors scratching their heads and disagreeing and unsure what to do. I had a goiter for many yrs--it was benign, Then I found out in Feb of this year on the other--left side--I had a new nodule which a fine needle biopsy showed to be malignant--and a poorly differiated type--very aggressive. It was…

Not a bad cancer, so husband left me
Well, all through my treatment my husband was about 4 hours from me because he got a new job and we couldn't afford to move. He heard so many times "it's the cancer you want" and "it's not a bad cancer" that I feel he started to think I wasn't really sick. He also didn't see me during the treatments. So I found out he…

does anyone have poorly differiented thyroid cancer? Has anyone been told iodine treatment won't he
My tumor is diagnosed as poorly differentiated thyroid cancer and they don't think it would respond to iodine treatment. It is inoperable and considered aggressive. Does anyone else have this type or been told iodine treatment might not help at all? thanks. I am disappointed--as I don't know what is left. They said…
