What generally happens from here?
My doctors are saying that once we do the I-131 that I'll be as good as "cured" and will only come in once every 2 years for the "typical procedures" to make sure the cancer doesn't show again. They haven't even been able to pinpoint what stage I'm in. I've done some reading and I found out that thyroid cancer typically…

Tired of Losing Hair
Is anyone else tired of losing their hair? No I didn't go bald from chemo, but I sure do lose a lot of hair. Everytime I brush my hair I need to pick the hair off my clothes and clean my brush out. I know it was all part of RAI and the thyroid replacement meds, but will it ever stop falling out so much? I work in a…

My mother was dx in Nov. 07 with colon cancer and is currently in treatment so I'm usually on the colon cancer thread, not this one but sad to say I'll be here too now.
