can radioactive iodine cause infertility?
I just scheduled my radioactive iodine therapy to kill whatever was left after my near total thyroidectomy b/c of papillary thyroid cancer. Does anyone know if radioactive iodine will have any negative effects on fertility. I'm in my early 20's and don't have any kids yet. Also, can anyone tell me about their experiences…

Stay away from soy?
I hear that soy is really hard on the thyroid. After being treated for thyca, do most of you try to avoid soy? or does it not matter since we no longer have thyroids... I'm just curious b/c I've been hearing such bad things about soy lately. Any other foods to avoid?

2nd Thyroid Surgery
Just found out this week from biopsy and ultrasound I get to go for a 2nd surgery. I have been told it is risky because of possible nerve damage. Does anyone have and advice or feedback as to what I might encounter, it sounds like 2nd surgs are not that uncommon.

thyroglobulin levels 1554
My T3 T4 levels are all normal. However my thyroglobulin levels are 1554. I have thyroiditis therefore my doctor is not concerned with those other high levels.
