Has anyone had CyberKnife with success? If my nodule proves to be cancerous am thinking about cyberknife instead of surgery. Could a nodule grow 4 mm in 2 years from something other than cancer? Just curious?

Lung Nodules
Been followed for lung nodules for 2 years. I didn't have my 4th CT until recently which was one year since my last 3 CT Scans. My 7 mm nodule is now 11 mm. I had a PET Scan which had an SUV of 0.7. Seeing a thorasic surgeon soon. I may need a biopsy. Anyone give me any insight to all of this?

I am new and have not talked to my dr yet but just recieved a copy of ct scan on my lungs.It says that I have a dependent hypoventilatory change in my posterior right lower lobe and an indeterminate 2mm nodule in my left upper lobe. I am just trying to find out what there are and what to expect.

Has anyone here, ever heard of a lung cancer patient, receiving or given the option of a lung transplant? I know the procedure is performed for other lung diseases, other than cancer, and am curious as to why this is not done or even brought up by Oncologists.
