LOTS OF QUESTIONS???
My 86 year old grandmother just had her kidney removed this evening, the Dr. came and said it has spread to a lymphnode that could not be removed due to excessive bleeding, he mentioned her age had nothing to do with it, my dad thinks she may only have 3-6 months to live. Is this true??

unclasified renal cell carcinoma
My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 unclassified renal cell carcinoma with metastases. Not a lot of research has been done on this kind of cancer, so I am very interested in hearing from anyone with this diagnosis -- especially about clinical trials producing good results. Thank you.

I just had surgery, a radiical nephrectomy. It was stage one and I am told the cancer is completely cured. I still worry about mets to the brain and lungs, from all I've been reading. Has anyone who has been through this able to give me some advice on this topic?
