My father was just diagnosed with stage iv colon with many liver mets
Is there any hope? He is only 64 and he just had part of the colon removed and they said there are over a dozen mets all over his liver and even a small area on his left lung that looks like it could be related. We havent met with the onc yet but am looking for any sign of hope. Any thoughts or experiences?

Dr. just called to tell me that my CEA level was up from 5 to 19. I have been going thru chemo since Dec. I only have 5 more weeks to go. He wants to do a pet scan. I had a large tumor in the transverse colon. I had a resection in Oct. of 06. Only two lymph nodes were positive. What do I do now?
