But I had to post these funnies... You know you are too old to Trick or Treat when: 10. You get winded from knocking on the door. 9. You have to have another kid chew the candy for you. 8. You ask for high fiber candy only. 7. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and fall over. 6. People say:…

re: Procrit for fatigue
Has anyone tried Procrit? A breast cancer survivor friend suggested it for my rectal cancer friend who spends most days in bed due to the chemo fatigue. Would love to hear from others about this annoying side effect.

I was expecting no meat, and a small amount of oil, but the no dairy is HARD. I tried the soy half and half in my coffee and the coffee didn't even turn colors. My husband…

Activia Yogurt!!
Thanks to the suggestion of someone on this board (KathiM?) I tried this yogurt this past weekend. It tastes great and it does seem, in only 2 days, that my system is working better (far less gas, etc.) It is the best my system has felt in the almost 8 years since preoperative chemoradiation. I am hopeful, but realistic,…

end of chemo.....need opinions please!
I have been on chemo, 5FU/Leuc. since April. Once a week for six weeks on, two weeks off, for a total of 20 treatments, the plan was to have 24. I was doing fairly well with it until the last 3 or 4, and now it's really tearing up my stomach and making me feel awful! My chemo nurses tell me it's the "cumalative effect".…

What Cancer Cannot Do
I saw a framed print in a catalog today and it really got to me. What Cancer Cannot Do It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot destroy peace. It cannot kill friendships. It cannot suppress memories. It cannot silence courage. It cannot invade the soul. It cannot steal eternal…
