Medical Marijuana
Is anyone useing it for nausea? I started it about two weeks ago and I find it makes it even worse. I am also not liking the dizziness it creates. It is very expensive and not sure if it is worth it.

Triple negative high grade scary
I was recently diagnosed with stage 1a triple negative breast cancer after removal of lump that surgeon thought was fibroademona (so no lymph check yet). PET scan, MRI, and mammogram clear (thank GOD) . I still have to get genetic test, have masectomy if positive or surgery to get clearer margins and do sentinel biopsy of…

OT - What does your State require to renew DL?
Just wondeering what other States are requiring to renew your Driver's License - not what's required to get the first one in that State but to RENEW. Here in SD, to RENEW everytime it requires your current DL. Social Security Card, Birth Certificate and 2 pieces of mail from a utility company or government agency for…

False Info on Newsline 9 WAOW about Mammorgrams
I am not going to take it and didn't. Tonight our local news had a bit on the news about a study that came out that mammograms don't have enough radiation to cause cancer. The news bit was put out by the national ABC News (Tim or Tom Johnson...I have seen him before reporting Medical News). HOWEVER, Mr. Johnson CLEARLY…

Would you have your rad tattoo's removed?
Mine are really faded and you can barely see them. I have a girlfriend that is thinking of having hers removed by laser. I thought I had read somewhere that you might want to keep them, so, if you go to the hospital, they will see them and realize you had rads? But, mine are so faded that I don't think they'd see them.…

I quit chomotherapy!
I've had it with chemo! A little over a month ago I decided to stop taking chemo treatments. It was way too much for me. My husband and I researched and researched for alternative methods and found tons of info on it. We found a documentary about the Rick Simpson story called "Run From The Cure". We decided to try this but…

Progress and a question on side effects
O.K. So I was so excited over being able to taste I failed to remember to mention something that is important to me. I first knew something was wrong with my body when the cancer expressed itself through my nipple. Being the ignorant male that I am, I let it go until the nipple started bleeding and wouldn't stop. It was at…

How do you move on after treatment?
I finished chemo last week. I still have surgery and recovery coming up, but as the physical part of the journey begins to wind down, I see a big psychological journey ahead. All the survivor stats don't alleviate my fears of not being healthy or not being around to see my sons grow up. De these feelings just eventually go…

OT - Update on my cataract surgery
My cataract surgery on Monday went well. I did not feel a thing and came home and slept for 5 hours. Went in this morning and the dr. took off the patch. He said it looked good. Still have to use drops and wear the patch when sleeping. I will not have to wear glasses, YEAH!, only for reading if the need is there. A little…

In the Poorest of Taste!
You do need to see the photo of these people in their pink blazers. To say nothing about the person who died from metastatic breast cancer, the color isn't "Pink". It's gone wild on other boards, what do you think? I gave my opinion especially in the subject matter. Doris…

Forgive me I have been a bad pink sister
But I always checked on you.. at a loss for words and heart breaking. I was just on the sidelines with my hands clenched into fists - frozen. Over the years, I got to know and love you. And it got to me more than I wanted to admit, even to myself. And as the time passed by it got harder and harder to come back... now on…

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2012/11/26/grapefruit-medicine-interaction-warning-expanded/ Don't know if anyone saw the report on ABC, but there's the link. Grapefruit has long since been mentioned in drug interactions and up until recently the list was relatively short.Arimidex and or it's generic isn't on the list,…

Any take any anti anxiety drugs to help get thru some of this?
I am just a mess. I have lived thru all kinds of challenges in my 62 years, I have lived thru hurricanes, being alone in Boston, during 9/11 on a business trip, breaking down in a rental car on a deserted road in a rain storm in the middle of the night in a strange city, really intense 6 hour route canals... and other life…

Trivial matter update
Warriors, It seems so trivial to post this , but I am anyway. There are so many brave ones out there battling for each day. I am so grateful to be in a position in my treatment to win my battle, I just wish I could transfer my chances at success to others who are needing it. My triviality is that I just wanted to share…
