Question for those with bialteral mastectomy with no reconstruction
It has been ten days shy of a year from my bmx w/no reconstruction. I heard a comment that women (and men) who have mastectomies loose all feeling in their chest. I thought that only went for those that got reconstruction. I have lots of feelings coming back. Anyone else out there have feelings back in your chest area…
Emotional
Was having severe depression and posted here about two months ago. I got some good advice and have since been put on Effexor and Xanax. This helped but for the last two or three days I seem to have slipped backwards. Everyone tells me I have been through alot with the cancer treatment and surgery and just to give it time.…

Hi everyone, I am going to be 38 on Wednesday and just found out that I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Life has become a whirlwind and out of nowhere the world of breast cancer has entered my life. Arimidex & pain...
Hi all. I've been on Arimidex since August of '11. I had an OncotypeDX score of 0. I'm miserable. I ache all the time all over and…

So many different areas and heritages have different traditional New Years meals so thought it might be fun to share. Me - I'm Southern (native Floridian). We have Black-eyed peas with Hog Jowls (well it's impossible to find here {SD} so make do with Ham Hocks), collard greens and corn bread. Susan

My tumor has shrunk much more than they anticipated (Yeah!!) and I get to have surgery at the end of January. Chemo has been over for two weeks and my leg pain is still horrible. Since I'm trying to get my colon to…

Hmmm...should I tell you about the email from GYN? or my trip to the ER?...
OK. OK. You probably want to hear about both...got a great email from the GYN. She says I am officially in menopause (we didn't know for sure because of the chemo) and I no longer need to worry about birth control! That is a whoop!!whoop!! for me. And a normal pap smear...Sorry Robert, if it's TMI. Now the ER...I woke up…
New to Breast Cancer but not Cancer
Hi Everyone, I am a survivor of Thyroid cancer (on that discussion board for some time) with Lymph node metastasis and just recently found out that I have two masses in my right breast which is the same side my other cancers were removed. One is in the pectoral muscle behind the breast. I am very worried about this and…
