As you know, I was terrified of yesterday. Going for the mammo and ultrasound put the fear in me again. Would the bc be back? What would they find? How would I take the news if it was bad? Does Edema get worse with each treatment?
My edema reaction gets worse with each treatment. At first it was just my face. Then, my legs. This 3rd treatment, my face, legs, and arms were swollen. Simultaneously, my urination started later and later with each treatment. I am worried that my tongue will swell in my 4th. Did anyone else have this progression? If so,…

Hives a week out of Chemo?
Has any one experienced hives after Taxotere and Cytoxan infusion? My hives were so bad that they put me on steroids. The medical staff also says that one week out is too far beyond the chemo treatment for the reaction to have been caused by chemo. I wonder if any one else has had hives during chemo. Hope all had a…

So depressed and discouraged tonight!
I had my chemo class today which provided a lot of info, though I thought touring the chemo room was a bit of a downer. So, I was already feeling pretty down while I was sitting at the softball field waiting for DD's game to start when my gyn's nurse called to tell me I need a D and C or a uterine biopsy, and soon. It…

Just had a visit with the breast surgeon and there are 3 moderately suspicious lumps which are actually quiet painful to touch in my right breast (left was removed). I had been complaining of pain and tenderness in my armpit and above my clavical on the right. It is likely to be fibrosis. However when I found the initial…

Who is more likely to loose nails? And which drugs make your hair come back a different color?

My hair and nails are strong and grow like weed. I figure this will make me more likely to loose everything, and fast. Since the chemo target…
