Tomorrow....
I will have my appt with oncologist. Its gonna be a phone call due to corona... That’s gonna be a bit weird. ;) I did check my portal. CA125 is 32. Scan report seems to be okay, but so many medical terms, so.... Just have to wait I guess When I had my blood drawn, I was feeling horrible, due to gastritis. And that is…

Blood and scan results in patient portal?
Do you have this option? In Denmark we do. And it’s up to you if you want to read it. It could be good news but it could also be bad news. Or news you don’t understand. I just had both blood work done and a CT scan. I know that the result will be in there within a few days. Just the thought makes me want to puke. A…

Scanxiety
How do you deal with that? I’m having my CT scan this Tuesday and I’m already now so nervous. Does it ever get any easier??

Stage 4B USPC Spread to fare for surgery so first 3 x Carbo/taxol. Chemo worked so got the massive open surgery. 12” scar.…

What kind of follow-ups?
Hi all. Just wondering what kind of examinations you are getting at check-ups? Im in Denmark so here it’s normal to get scans. At least for uterine cancer. I’ve had both. My current oncologist prefers CT scans over PET/CT. She’s the head doctor of the oncologist department. Yes, I’m a bit lucky there ;) Bit it’s just a bot…

UPSC - Has anyone done SBRT for a recurrence
Has anyone done Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) to kill a nodule that that grew (from 1 cm to 3 cm) while undergoing chemotherapy that in 3 rounds killed everything else and CA125 is now normal.

Gastritis
Have anyone ever had this? I do. Due to chemo. It’s horrible. I’ve lost 8-9 pounds in 5-6 weeks and I’m not overweight. Gastritis is inflammation. Yes? Can this cause ca125 to raise a bit?

It’s my birthday today :) And something about gastritis...
We all know how important birthdays are. Next year I will be 50, and I can honestly say that I’m looking sooo much forward to that day. Something I use so kind of dread. Getting older. But getting older is GOOD :) So I’m embracing my b-day with all I have :) Im currently getting carboplatin and doxil. I think the latter is…

Hello from a new member
Dear Ladies, I came across this discussion board and have been so uplifted by your positive attitudes. My run in with uterine cancer has been a car wreck. On Christmas Eve 2019 I was with my sister in California enjoying a program when I laughed out loud and thought I wet my pants. I ran to the bathroom and found blood…
