Re: Good news regarding my tests
Hi Ladies: I just wanted to post some Good news. I had a second reoccurence of UPSC in the fall of 2016. I was originally diagnosed with stage 1 of UPSC in February of 2011. I only had an 18% chance of it reoccurring on me which is very very low odds of a reoccurrence with stage 1. My oncologist has been sending me for…

LizaL: Response to your request for information on uterine carcinosarcoma (MMMT) specialists
LizaL I created this separate topic since your original request was buried in the old, long thread on MMMT. Those old threads can be hard to navigate when looking for new posts or seeking others' advice. You asked: Hi I was recently diagnosed with MMMT in vaginal and cervix. I received two chemo treatments but the cancer…

Hi I was recently diagnosed with a State 1a and Grade 3 undifferentiated endometrial carcinoma. I had a total hysterectomy and will soon begin chemo. How low did your CBC go with external radiation?
I finished 6 rounds of chemo March 1st. I finished external radiation (IMRT to the pelvis) June 6th. I'm still on Herceptin. Three weeks ago, my white count was low, at 4.0, my hemoglobin was low, at 10.2, and my platelets were in the low 80s. But today, three weeks later, everything was lower! My white count was 2.6,…

Did anybody experience weight loss after your hysterectomy? I had gained a lot of weight during the years and ended up at 157 lbs before the hysterectomy. How do you get help from the “site administrator”
Hello Ladies, Wishing you all the best. I have tried repeatedly to send a message via CSN e-mail and each time it “fails to go through”. The message I repeatedly receive is to contact the site administrator, yet there is no instruction on how to do that. Can anyone here help me? Thanks, Cathy

It was 3 years ago just before mothers day that i was having my hysterectomy. I was in the hospital for mothers day. Sometimes 3 years ago seems so far a way and yet…

clinical trial for me, I think
Thanks to MABound and LuLu who opened my mind to genomic testing and clinical trials. I am screening for a trial of an immunotherapy drug. Same as LuLu, I'm MSS but have some mutations that make this look promising as a treatment for me. Hoping to stabilize or even better. If all goes as expected with screening I begin the…

Recurrence of Post menopausal bleeding
So beginning Thanksgiving weekend I had a several week bout of PMB. Saw my primary care doc right away. She sent me off after an exam for a transvaginal ultrasound and a referral for an ob/gun. weight loss during and after pelvic external beam radiation
I've lost about ten pounds in 5 and a half weeks, with radiation treatment. I've had bad GI symptoms (diarrhea and no appetite) since about two weeks into radiation treatment, although a probiotic has helped. And I most definitely DO eat less - probably two meals a day, instead of three, and much less in the way of…

Blood counts suppressed by pelvic external beam radiation tx?
I'm almost done with pelvic external beam IMRT, just one more treatment to go. Today I was in for Herceptin, and they did a CBC, Chem 20, and Ca-125 before my infusion.
