Prostate Removed
74yrs old. January 2021 showed PSA >6.0, but digital prostate exam nml. Dr ordered MRI, which showed AREA OF CONCERN on anterior (front) side of gland (digital exam doesn't palpate this area). Biopsy showed very small areas of adenocarcinoma (cancer) in three of the eighteen biopsy specimens. Those specimens were sent to a…

PSA test came back as 11. Oh boy here we go!
I'm 67 and recently had a PSA test done during a routine physical and it was 11. The last time I had a PSA test was 5 years ago by another doctor and it was 4. I actually found out about that one right after my last test because my new doctor wanted my past medical records. That first doctor never said anything about it…

Newly diagnosed and don't know which path to take

I have PSA/testosterone/CBC/Comprehensive metabolic panel blood tests to be done at the end of September. We'll find out then. Not the complete picture, but…

More promising results and experiences by a medical doctor in the below YouTube video and an online publication. With BAT in every 6-8 week cycle, patients have…

Is Calypso the same as SBRT?
I am considering a doctor who uses the Calypso machine to treat my PCa. He will use high dose radiation over 5 sessions in 2 1/2 weeks. Up until now, I assumed that this is the same thing as SBRT. Now, however, I am reading things that imply that just because it is done over 5 sessions it doesn't necessarily imply that it…
