My Anniversary
Just wanted to let you all know, December 27th was the 1 year anniversary of my PC surgery. I am still cancer free and all my plumbing is working fine. I have been on CSN for almost a year and want to thank all of you for the great support. Have a happy new year. Frank
Continence
Catheter removed; not uncomfortable procedure, although for some it has been painful. I wonder what the stats are on this and why the difference. Pathology report confirms CA confined to Prostate. One incision is not healing properly so trying new antibiotic. Continence is very good. Slept thru night without incident. I…
Kegel Exercises
Roger and J. Thanks for the cheers and feedback. I had not thought to do Kegel exercises now before catheter removal, though I did do them pre-op. I have not done the Kegels "religiously" for the last 3 weeks, but intend to from this point foward. Any thoughts?- has…

He is the urologist that did my biopsy and may do my surgery. Please let me know if you have any information, good or bad,…
Rethinking treatment options
Many thanks to you who responded to my questions on catheter management. It is very encouraging to know that there are wise and sympathetic friends from whom to seek counsel. Being conservative and looking for a "second opinion" I consulted a oncology radiologist. I came away even more confused about the options and merits…

Just had my 3 mo and results were very good less than .05 which is as low as their tests went.I travel 4 hrs to the location of my operation Dr. stated since I live so far and everything went so well after my Davinci to have my psa checked every 3 mo near home. My question is since testing vary so much, like less than .1…
