Newbie, DLBCL, pet scan clean but.....
First, I'm so glad to have found this site today. Going crazy. I was sick for quite some time. 2 yrs or more. I was also having marriage problems so I thought I was just run down. I had major back pain, fatigue and chronic sinus problems. At least that's what 4 Md's, hematologist and a week in the hospital diagnosis was.…

Walking again! I just wanna share that I have not done any physical activity for a while and just started again about 4 days ago. It is so good for us who can do this during our journey of fighting cancer. I feel it is not only helping my mind but my body as well. I never wanna come back home, I just want to keep walking…

All kinds of people, all kinds of FNHL
I talked with my neighbor's father today. He is 71 and retired. He was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma at age 58 - 13 years ago. At that time he was put on watch and wait. He is still on watchful waiting and has never received any form of treatment. He was at a major medical Center last week for a 6-month exam. They…

"Double-Boarder" Triple ?
Just wanted to tell my friends here that the prostate biopsy came back positive. Very minor, Stage 1. Easily treatable with radiation or surgical removal. I've got to talk to a radiation oncologist and surgeon to make that decision. Chemo is virtually never used on prostate cancer, and is never curative for prostate…

Causes of Hodgkins Hodgkin Lymphoma NLPHL
In an attempt to solve the puzzle, I'm starting a topic so people can write in to see if there are any similar circumstance leading up to Hodgkin Lymphoma. My Lymphoma was NLPHL. Here are some of the new things I was doing in the two years prior to diagnosis: -lap swimming several time per week in chlorine pool; -taking…

Can cramp be caused by temodar?
I have cramp in my hands, feet, and legs, normally about one day a week, and it can be quite painful. This cramp can perhaps be due to age (I am 70). I take temodar 4 days every month to prevent a relapse of CNS (brain) lymphoma. It seems that cramp is more frequent when I take temodar. I have studied the documentation of…

So Confused
Im having a very difficult time lately. I was happily married with 3 wonderful young boys. My life was not always peaches and cream but it worked. I was diagnosed with Follicular Non-Hodgkins in 2010. At first I spent my time alone crying. Then I decided that I would control the beast and not let it control me. I had a…

JIM AND FOXY FOXY
Jim: Don't know if you saw this one: Just wanted to tell you how beautiful that picture is of Foxy snuggling with her stuffed animal. She has very interesting, pretty ears, I think. Amazing, she learned to ring a bell when she wants to go out. My last two fox-terrier type dogs never were totally housebroken. We tried and…

Survivorship Plateau
It has been two years since I was first diagnosed with Lymphoma. I was extremely symptomatic and things moved very quickly after my diagnosis, confirmed by CT scan and needle biopsy. In a state of shock, I met my Oncologist, had 11 vials of blood drawn, had a bone marrow biopsy, an ultrasound, a PET scan, an…
