Dealing with many long term effects
Hi, I am a 2x childhood cancer survivor (I am 34 now). The last 10 years or so I've been devleoping long tern effects- chronic pain, chronic fatigue - which no-one acknowledges- chronic staff infection and memory loss. I'd love to chat with others dealing with even one similar issue.

Thyroid problems after radiation?
Has anyone experienced throid problems after radiation treatment? I have 25 treatments to the chest area and now they think I might have a thyroid problem. I will let you know the results of the tests but I want to hear from you too. Thanks, Lia

I had stage IA Hodgkins back in 95' with 6 weeks of upper field radiation therapy. I'm very blessed to be a 7 year survivor. I am currently undergoing chemo (Carbo/Taxofere) for ovarian cancer. Within my 1st month of treatment (currently starting my 3rd) I noticed a loss of muscle tone.
