Gout & kidney cancer
The past week my big toe has been swollen, red, extremely painful. It seems to be gout, but I'm pretty a-typical for a gout patient. So what's up with that? I learned that gout is due to too much uric acid in the blood stream. The kidney's job is to filter it out! Gee, you think there's something wrong with my kidney? : )

She was scheduled for surgery last Tuesday and it was unsuccessful, they said they could not cut her open she was losing too much blood and they may have lost her on the operating table. New Docotrs
have a question for you all out there. My surgeon who removed my tumor in October is moving on to another practice. He is suggesting I see another urologist in the practice at one year. I had seen him at 3 and 6 months. Is it reasonable to see a regular urologist for follow up care or is it better to go to another…

It turns out the inital CT had my tumor as 2,7 cm while the patholigy report following surgery measured the tumor at 4.2cm and according to the doctor that is the more accurate…

For my Mother
We found out yesterday that my mother, who is 82 has a tumor in her right kidney. My father is 85 with borderline alzheimers. I live with them and take care of them, or we take care of each other, I should say. I am a cancer survivor (thyroid) myself so I am scared for her. They are going to schedule an MRI to see if it's…
