Finally eating fairly well
I still don't have saliva...but have managed to learn how to swallow with only a small amount of liquid. My taste is back to around 80% and I can eat hot and spicey foods! G-tube
My husband has had his G-tube for 6 weeks post surgery and we start radiation on Thursday. He has started to have some bleeding around the tube..is this normal? We are not sure what to expect.....thanks for any help and words of wisdom for starting radiation....thanks for any help...sdawe

post-radiation dry mouth relief
Not sure if it will help anyone else but we have found that "Saliva Substitute" "Oral Balance" and "Oralube" type products have really been helping with his dry mouth problem. We got the first one at Walmart :)

Cerebrospinal fluid leak from ear

Severe phlegm post-radiation
My husband completed radiation/chemo for SCC of base of the tongue. Since then he has had horrible phlegm.
