I just need to whine for a few minutes
My story starts just over 5 yrs ago & is rather long so I won't try to write it. Every time I think I have jumped the last hurdle there just seems to be another one with the bar set higher. I know I'm whining, isn't that what this place is for? Me & my husband were unemployed when the cancer came back so I was on state…
ostomy smell
What do you do about the smell of the ostomy bag. My husbands smells so bad when he is emptying it and it goes throughout the house. I don't say anything to him because I don't want to hurt his feelings, he's already having a hard time with it (mentally) now. I didn't know if there was something that can be done or how you…

The news of Carl passing really hit me because just a couple months ago we seemed to be on the…

My wife's PET/CT scan, just before her 8th chemo (of 12 planned), indicated that the tumors in her liver have shrunk significantly and were metabolically quieter than at pre-treatment. lymph nodes resolved as well. no other mets anywhere. but the tumor in her ascending colon is…
Food... Chemo.... Food ? ? ?
Just curious.... what's your favorite food while getting chemo treatments. I seem to like PBJ sandwiches (cut diagonally of course). and, baked patatoes always seem to hit the spot. how about you?
