Finished second week
I think I would be ok if the mouth sores would go away, I am ready to eat more than grits and mashed potatoes. I must not complain because god has been good and faithful. I know I have a ways to go but feeling like I can actually do this. I was getting a little depressed but I actually feel it was the effects of the chemo.…

1 year in remission ~ think I'm having symptoms again, please respond!
Hi; in late 2009, I started noticing "changes" ~ namely in bowel habits & feeling extremely tired. No "home remedies" helped; went to local doctors & was misdiagnoised. The area around the anal canal is severely swollen and it is making having a bowel movement quite difficult. Her radiologist…

First week done
I have finished the first week of treatment and so far feeling fairly well. Was told by oncologist to expect mouth sores this next week and that my counts were likely to drop. The radiation folks say will start to feel the brunt of the radition end of next week or week after. I have had no issues with appetite yet, been…

Pain from radiation burns - any recommendations?
First, I am so thankful for this site. I have been lurking here since my mother's diagnosis in December. Mom has made it through her chemo - radiation - chemo cycle and now has severe pain from the radiation burns. She had her last rad. treatment a week ago tomorrow. She has open areas from the blisters and swelling. My…
