I was wondering if anyone out there had IMRT instead of the full pelvic radiation. I am recently diagnosed and waiting for a PET scan to verify if the cancer was in my lymphnodes as one lymphnode across from were the tumor is was slightly "puffed" 7mm. My doctor told me about IMRT and that it was not used enough nor long…

sleep and food
I've already gone from 102 to 89, and just started treatment. I love yogurt, so I'll pick up a bunch tomorrow, My sister is taking me to the grocery after radiation. Now I'm finding it almost impossible to sleep. Can't find a comfortable place to put the fanny pack. It gets easier,,,doesn't it? Melodie

Blood clot in neck
Has any one had a blood clot caused by their port? I was never told to look for an infection or signs of a clot. I woke up one morning with a vein bulging in my neck. I could also see veins spreading out from the port. I googled port and infection, and thought it could be a clot. I went to the doctor, had an ultrasound and…

I had lab last Wednesday after the Med/Onc appointment so that I did not have to come early today. Apparently the right hand didn't tell the left hand so...two hours to…
