Surgery vs Radiation Chemo Or?
I had neck cancer 8 years ago. Now I have a small spot (1 cm) on upper esophagus. My doctor thinks radiation chemo is possbile, maybe not full treatment dose, but not sure. The cancer has not spread. Back Pain...
Getting some right upper back pain after eating. Is this common after an esophagectomy? Could the back pain be a symptom of an esophageal stricture or dumping syndrome? The pain isn't from acid reflux. I will be seeing my doctor in a couple weeks. Or should i see the doctor immediately...?

Rotting food 3 years post Ivor Lewis
My dad is 3 years post Ivor Lewis surgery and is now showing signs of rotting food in his small portion of stomach left. He has no appetite, nausea, and extreme weaknes. anyone heard of this. The surgeon acts like he is clueless. thanks.
