Hi,

My boyfriend is in his second recurrence of esthesioneuroblastoma. It is now so close to his eye the doctors want to remove his eye and possible nearby structures....a ten to twelve hour surgery. Has anyone been through this? What was your recovery like, pain, postoperative care? Any info, personal experience or advice is greatly appreciated.

    Hello & Welcome

To the forum the place we are but not by choice. I have not had the situation your boyfriend is in but a lady in our local support group has and all i can say she is doing well, but I have not seen her in a while because of covid and our group is not meeting.

There was a lady on here called Kteacher that went through what you are describing.
Unfortunately, she has passed but her memory lives on in her posts on here so I did a couple of searches and I hope it helps.
You can search this site and see if you can locate answers.
