Breast implants recalled

I got a letter today from Allergan. My Natrelle silicone implants have been recalled. The letter said they have caused breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) which is a cancer of the immune system in some people. It said it can take 8 to 10 years for symptoms to develop. My implants were put in, in 2010. The letter said they do not have to be removed unless you have symptoms. If you have symptoms, remove implants and start chemo and/or radiation. So, am I expected to sit and wait and see?  I've dealt with breast cancer, still in treatment for ovarian cancer, and now have to sit and wait to see if I get BIA-ALCL. I'm a little upset right now, sorry. I see my doctors in Houston in October. I'm going to ask if I can get these things replaced. Hope insurance will let me. If anyone else is having the same issue, please let me know what you are going to do.

Thank you. I joined a Facebook group for ALCL in women with breast implants. They have taught me a lot. If anyone has any of the recalled implants, I recommend the group for informational purposes.
