Sorry for poo song

If it offends anyone, I am sorry. I thought it was funny, because pooing or not pooing is so important now. I just found out I am 4 years cancer free, after a stage 3a diagnosis in May 2014. Even though there is " No Evidence of Disease" IN my body, there's plenty of evidence that it went through hell and back. Still have lots of embarrassing poop and poop hole issues, because as they say, "Cancer is the gift that keeps on giving." I don't ever comment on this forum, but I read it every night before I go to sleep. Thank you all for being there all this times. Every comment helps me get by.

YaY on your four years!! That

YaY on your four years!! That's an awesome milestone.

I'm lucky that my poo regularity and control returned to normal pretty quickly. The one thing that is different is, er, um, flatulence. I never had a problem holding it in before but since treatment the noxious emissions pretty much come out when they want. If I'm on stage I can blame it on the drummer. LOL. Other times (like at the grocery store) all I can do is hope it's not a loud one. Smile

I was just like you when I was diagnosed and being treated. I frequented this forum without posting and gained so much knowledge and comfort. It is a wonderful place for those of us who were recruited into the "club".

    Thank you!

    Thank you so much!

Flatuence is an ongoing concern for me, too. I work at a high school now, so I have to be very careful of what I eat in order to minimize the risk if letting one rip in class. Very embarrassing. Have you tried Nullo or Devrom tablets that you can order online? They are supposed to reduce odor.I have not because of the expense. It might be worth it, but what I really need is a fart silencer, you know?

    Apology for what?

Recovery14 - I think that the "poo song" is cute and reflects the human condition. I have even had poos like that when I was still on Fentanyl 4 years ago (not singing, but intransigeant)! And the voice sounds like Sacha Baron Cohen's lemur from the Madagascar movies.
