So I had my Biopsy three months ago and everything came back as scar tissue.  YAY.  Tuesday which is about 6 months post treatment I had a PET scan and everything was normal.  NED.  I was freaking out a bit when I did not hear anything Wednesday because that is a fairly quick test to get results back from.  Anyway, Everythign was normal...a little higher uptake in my right tonsil but attributed to inflammation since the CAT scan showed nothing.  Does the anxieety ever lessen after a scan.  Anyway I am exstatic.  Someone even backed into my truck in a parking l;ot today and I was like...it's all gooddude...don't worry we will figure it out.  He was barely 18 an probably his first accident and things happen.  I'll take that anyday over cancer.  Thank you all for your support.

    So glad to hear your good news!  I know that must be a big relief.  I have had many scans over the years since my diagnosis in 2008 and I will tell you the "scanxiety" never completely goes away, but it does get better with time.  Celebrate your great news and have a good weekend!
