starting radiation and chemo Monday

in Anal Cancer #1

Feeling a little overwhelmed. I start treatment on Monday. I have the chemo pills, but not sure if I will

have the infussuon first? I see the oncologist tomorrow afternoon for more information. 

I will have 5-1/2 weeks of treatment. stage 1 anal cancer.

    think we are all overwhelmed....

    hi brenda, think we are all overwhelmed!! i have stage 4 and had 39 radiation treatments and the take-home chemo pump for a week in the beginning and a week at the end of the radiation. good luck in your treatments!!! rely on your docter and the nurses, have found the nurses in the cancer center at both hospitals very caring.

    Good Luck and Remember What I Have Just learned...

    Post 14 days upon completion they don't seem to 'care' about you anymore!! Too many others I guess.
