Daily Cialis

My doc finally was able to get approval from my insurance Aetna for daily use of Cialis 5 mg after about 5 months of battle with insurance company.

Few days ago, I was called by mail in pharmacy and asked how I want to pay for my mail in order?

I gave her credit card number then I was told I have to pay $937.50 for 90 days supply.

I thanked the lady and asked not to bill my CC and declined medication.

I would like to hear  if anyone else run into this kind of ripp off situation by insurance company.

Prior to surgery the doctor wanted me to take Sildenafil 20 mg; so I paid for the first prescription of 90 pills 90 dollars.  One dollar per pill.  I am retired military so I checked with them and they said they would refill at a once a month rate.  One pill .36 cents.  If possible you might want to get your doctor to write a prescription to MediSuite, LLC160 MacGregor Pines Dr, Cary NC 27511.  There phone number is 800-601-0691 or 919-200-6952.  They do not offer Cialis at this time, because they cannot save the customer any money.  However, if you can take Sildenafil 20 mg (Viagra), they can fill that prescription at about a dollar per pill.  Hope this helps.

Hi MK,

My doctor hooked me up with a place in North Carolina called Marley Drug.  My doc sent in the prescription for generic Sildenafil which was a lot cheaper than Cialis.  Marley Drug phone number is 1-800-286-6781.  Fifty 20mg tablets cost $80 vs $300 for the same Viagra tablets but that was some time ago, prices might have changed.

I read that cialis 10mg, daily is best to treat ED.

There are Canadian Pharmacies that sell lower priced cialis....they are mostly manufactured in India

You will have to have your doc write a presciption

Here are a list of Canadian pharmacies that you can contact

H & O,

My doctor's group advised me the exact same thing last year, when my pharmacy card would no longer pay for Cialis:  Get it from Canada.  They gave me references, but as I was no longer really needing the drug, I lost the references. The NP told me the Canadian-supplied versions were totally reliable, or that they had never heard otherwise.

Cleveland, the drug never gave me reddish complexion that I can recall, or any other discernable side-effects, but I think I was on a lower dose than 10 mg, if there is such a lower dose.  I take 7 perscription drugs a day, and just do not recall that for certain either.

I told my doc I am taking Cialis 10 mg daily and I ordered it from ADC from India. He was very doubtful about efficacy of Cialis from India and he wanted me to try domestic real Cialis and he wrote multiple times to insurance company before they approved it.

Cialis and Viagra (also from India) did not produce any effects even with full doses or combination like Viagra 50 + Cialis 20 mg or vice versa. I did not try full doses of both at same time.

I can not judge efficacy of this drugs from India because I never tried them before RP so I can’t tell if they worked for me or not. Also tried Cialis from Canada which actualy was  Cialis from Slovakia. Did not work either. In the last few times my penis just looked a bit relaxed after taking Cialis or Viagra. Both of this drugs have SE which I hate and I am kind of ready to give up.

I missed my window of opportunity.

Yeah Cialis would make my face flush for about an hour after I took the drug. But I put up with until I did not need it anymore.

MK, you said you live in Texas. I was down in Rio- grand valley earlier this year and crossed over into Mexico and bought no name Sildenafil  ( Viagra ) 100mg tabs.

it cost $ 18.00 for 10 tablets. Works great no issues..

I get 90 tabs  of 5mg cialis thru OptumRX/Blue Shield/Medicare for $90; $1/tab which I still think is overprived, but the non-medicare cost for 90 is ridiculously quoted as around $1900 for 90 tabs. So, $1/tab doesn't sound so bad in comparison.

It's a battle to get it approved and I have to get it "reapproved" each year.  No way to get it if you say you need it for ED.  It's only prescribed if you tell your doc to say that you need it for BPH and have have tried every other type of BPH drug which to not work for you.  That's the only way it gets approved for me.

I was using an Indian company that was/and still is selling a cialis knock-off for $54/90 tabs but stopped using them when they were prevented from processing payments using a credit card companies (which is a way the govt prevents the purchase of overeas medications (as well as marijuana) and wanted me to start paying by direct bank payments, which I balked at.

I had no reason to distrust them but I don't even do any direct bank payments w/anyone, so I decided to try to get the real thing thru Medicare.  It was a struggle but I was able to do it and, if you're Medicare eligible, you should be able to do so too, if you follow the tips provided above.

PS: If you want to try the Indian company that I used, it's ProgressiveRX and you can find their cialis medication info here: https://www.progressiverx.com/store/search.php?mode=search&page=1&keep_https=yes

This is how ridiculous it gets...

When I had severe BPH, I got several free 30 dose sample packs of 5mg Cialis, and heavily discounted when I bought it, and insurance paid most of it. Lilly was pushing it hard as a BPH reliever, and I was taking Cialis in morning and Flomax at night just to keep a small stream squeezed out.

But as soon as you use the letters "ED"... no free samples, no discounts, no insurance. Crazy world.

Most likely, you were functional at 53 so I see your comment as very sarcastic.

Chucketc's response did not appear to be directed at you, MK 1965.  I took it as a general response to all of the commentary above. Plus, most guys here have a sense of humor and good will toward one another.

Thank you, Chucketc.

This has been discussed dozens of times on many prostate cancer forums. The usual solutions are online Canadian pharmacies. which often send you drugs from Slovakia, Israel, or India. All work as expected, for a small fraction of U.S. suppliers' prices.

But, other men report buying ED drugs for the same cheap prices at Sam's Club with a membership, or a company called GoodRX.com. That would save the usual three weeks shipping time with Canadian orders.

If you feel he is being unfairly sarcastic, then you should explain to him your whole story like I have suggested. You cannot accuse Chuck of inappropriate comments if he is not familiar with it.

He intended the comment be taken in a friendly manner. If we start censoring each other unfairly, this forum is finished.

We are getting my husband's Sildenafil 20 mg via Costco.  Doesn't go through insurance.  $50.00 for 30 day supply.  That's the way Memorial Sloan Kettering set us up. Everything else was $400 for 30 day supply. I don't know if other wholesalers like Costco have generic Cialis.  I'll ask our doctor in NYC that question and let you know.

I had tried Cialis ( tadalafil ) early on and it did not work for me. I then tried Viagra (sildenafil- 100mg ) and that did work.

Sildenafil kind of works for me but it takes a huge run up. No spontaneous combustion any more. I honestly think it is as much mind over matter as anything else.

I do find if I slack off the routine it gets worse.

It takes persistence to keep it going on top of everything else.

yeah Cush you might be right. About half the time I don't need any meds to perform but sometimes I do. Is it because I'm very relaxed sometimes and not stressed ? I don't know.

One thing I do know is that in any case Im not close to what I once was but after surgery and radiation what could I expect .

I suspect it is a bit of everything but I've been told the important thing is to make it fun and importantly have no expectations and don't beat yourself up. A little vino helps too :)

Good friend of mine told me about glass of red wine which also relaxes blood vessels and speeds up heart rate which makes blood circulate faster bringing more oxygen to the brain and penis and after that 10 mg of Cialis works great for him. He did not have prostate Ca but he has diabetes for about 10 years.

Honestly, I am non drinker so I am not Interested for his combination.
