Hands and feet peeling.

My hands are peeling so bad after my 5th treatmeant. I am worried about how they will be after the 6th treatmen. I put lotion on all of the time.

    Yes my palm side.

They told me my palms and bottom of my feet would get dark and peel. My right thumb is whatbkills me right now. after each chemo the peeling has been more each time.

They did not warn me about

They did not warn me about that. I am only on round 3. Are you on Leucovarin, oxplatin, and 5fu? The person who does the massages did tell me that skin cells are ones that divide quickly so are also affected by the drugs. She told me this when I asked if I should buff my feet since I am not allowed to get a pedicure. I can say that a friend gave me this coconut oil type cream, and it works well. My feet get dry, and all my skin was a mess when I left the hospital after 19 days of being in a fog and no bathing. That fixed that right up. I have found my face skin isn't as smooth, but not sure if that is the chemo or the fact that I might go a couple of days without washing my face because of my fatigue. Anyway, I think it was pricey, but it was a gift, and a little goes a long way. It is Kapari coconut melt. https://www.koparibeauty.com/products/organic-coconut-melt Looks like you can buy on sephora too.

    Cotton gloves & Cotton socks

Slather that moisteriser on and then put on cotton gloves and socks, especially at night. I would even sit on my hands for a while so that the heat would help the moisturiser absorb.

I had a sore on my thumb that stayed around for almost all of my chemo treatment. The skin will not heal well while you are on treatment. I remember my Onc telling me to be very careful not to cut myself. Well, I went home and sure enough, within an hour of being home, I cut my finger. It did not heal for weeks.

I would also suggest you try several different types of cream and swap them out. I used Curel, Aquaphore, Bio Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Eucerin, and several others.  Your best bet is to try and stop the skin cracking, because once it does, its not going to heal well.

Are you on Xeloda? I hear that is even worse for the hand and foot syndrome. I was on FOLFOX and I don't think I had it half as bad as it could be, but bad enough to be uncomfortable.

I did not have problems with

I did not have problems with skin peeling on Neo-Adjuvant chemo but I had five black toes that didn't heal. The black toes were from running and it's a common problem. They healed up afterwards though. The Adjuvant has the week off so I'm wondering if stuff heals up in the off week. The main things that I'd like cleaned up are the surgical scars.

    Cut resistant gloves

Kinda off topic but the cut problem can be serious.  I bought some cut resistant gloves that they use in the restaurant industry.  Several brands available on Amazon.  Despite the gloves, I do not handle raw meat - breaks in your skin/cuts while handling raw meat could be very bad news.

Yes that was a warning to me about the treatment as well.  Doctor told me to liberally put on lotion day and night, day after day to try to combat this issue as that is one of the concerns is the peeling.  Fortunately mine weren't too bad and was able to handle it, but some people react differently.  Make sure that your doctor knows this and don't let it continue because you surely don't want it to bleed.  Good luck.
