3rd CT scan

Options

So tomorrow my hubby goes in for his 3rd scan post treatment. The last two were completely clear. But still there’s

the worry that this time....  I’m choosing to remain positive and pray for the best.  send positive vibes if you will

    I agree

Living 3 or 6 months at time kinda stinks. Hey, he made it this far, he can only go up and onward.

Good Luck.. Here is wishing you a happy NEDx3.

Just curious,  why is he having CT scans instead of PET scans?

    Here's to NED

We all get scanxiety. It should be fine. Been through 3 PETs and 4 CTs.

    Hope it went well!

I hope it all went well and is NED!  Our insurance denied a follow up scan, but my husband will get the scope, poke and prod next Wednesday.  His 12 week scan was NED and he said he is not concerned.  I'm kind of mad at our insurance because they will only cover a scan once a year.  I mean, WTH?  Obviously, if the doctor suspects anything, the insurance will cover a scan, so here's hoping we don't need one.  But, this is not about me ... please let us know how the scan went!

    No Scan, but NED exam

Well, he didn't get the scan, but the scope poke and prod looked perfect!  We will go with that.  These are some of the best doctors in the world so I will trust them.  He will likely go to voice therapy to try to regain his singing voice.  His speaking voice was unaffected, but there is so much swelling from treatment that he has trouble singing.  Where this would be no big deal for many, my husband and I are professional musicians and part of our income comes from singing.  But, in all honesty, I'm just happy he's here to complain about not being able to sing yet.  :)
