It's been a very long time since I have logged in! My husband now is almost 7 years out from rectal cancer diagnoses and is still NED. This was such a great sounding board for me as a care taker and just wanted to say hello and thank you to all of those that helped us through those tedious couple of years. It can be beat!!

    Great news!

My husband was just diagnosed in december with rectal cancer at age 47.  Seeing this gives me hope.

Continued good health to your husband!

    It can be beat!!

At 77 I had my first colonoscopy. Surgery cost me 2/3 of my rectom.  Definately a bumppy ride.  But NED (no evedence of disease) since

2010.  Currently 85, living normal life of an old man. LOL

So wonderful to hear. How strong you are danker!  I am only 49 and I certainly do not want to stop fighting. Stories of survival are what is getting me through.
