    Stomach pain and diarrhea

I'm sorry your having to go through this. I had the same thing it's just what I did but tell your onc and radiation oncologists. I had to take some smooth muscle relaxers Bentyl or hyoscamine helped and I didn't have much relief from the diarrhea but I was prescribed a liquid I think the name is tincture of opium but all of the medicines I put here have to have a prescription. But lomotil didn't help me at all and the Bentyl and librax helped my stomach pain a lot. My best advice is to talk to your oncologist as soon as possible. Also I had to eat a BRAT diet bananas, white rice, applesauce, and toast. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

I will call them tomorrow if I am still doing this. I don't go back to see him until wednesday. I hope I can get some rest tonight.

I had to call oncologist after hours a few times. They were always very nice, whichever doctor was on call would call me back pretty quickly. You sound miserable, I hope you get some relief soon.

    Diarrhea and sore bottom

Hi Froggy, I wanted to check on you and see if your radiation oncologist was able to help with the diarrhea problem and if not if you were able to get a hold of your oncologist to maybe get some help. I sure do understand the diarrhea woes I'm almost through but I still have diarrhea daily no matter what I've taken and I don't mean to scare you on that it just is how it is for me I begin to wonder most of the time wishing I had the ileostomy back and the stomach and vag so that I didn't have to use Depends or have a sore bottom either. I'm so so very sorry that you're having to go through this too and my prayers are with you that your docs can find some help for you. Your in my thoughts too. Hang in there .

    Thanks kim

I saw my dr today and he told me to take lomotril and Imodium together about every couple of hours, while it is bad. He also prescribed me some Percocet. I am feeling a little better tonight and not constantly in the bathroom. Just still have to stay close, just in case. Thanks for thinking of me. I hope you are feeling ok, too.
