Naturopathic Doctor advice needed

Hello all, my mom was diagnosed stage 3C2 in September and she just finished her 5/6 chemo sessions, internal radiation to come in February. As we near the end of her treatment, I really want to stay 2 steps ahead of this cancer. We've been good about her diet and exercise but I'd like to get in touch with a naturopathic doctor about supplements and herbs we should be using more often than not after treatment. I don't think her primary surgeon or oncologist have much to offer in terms of advice unfortunately - except that the oncologist didn't want her taking supplements during treatment. Can anyone provide information or advice about how they found/integrated a naturopath? I want to find a good one and someone who knows what they are doing - my mom won't buy in if they don't. I'm in Colorado if anyone has specific contacts to share. Thank you!

    Naturopathic Oncologists

Here's a list of board-certified naturopathic oncologists.  Just a quick scan shows at least one in Colorado.  I would highly recommend using a naturopath who specializes in working with cancer patients.

    Cost

    Hi Editgrl,

Did your insurance cover a naturopath? And if not, can you share here or private message me about costs?

    Thanks!

    Naturopaths

    Hi Angelapo,

If you are in the Front Range, there is Naturmed in Boulder and there is Integrated Health Solutions in Colorado Springs.  Integrated Health Solutions might take insurance because there is a nurse practitioner there.  If you are in the Four Corners Area, Namaste Health Center is in Durango.  Good luck  I have worked with two out of three of these clinics and they are great.
